A place where furniture has been made so meticulously and with attention to detail since 1946 is the village of Karnice, in the Lower Silesia region of Poland. The furniture making facility there, which was founded in that village soon after the end of World War II, is perhaps one of the oldest such facilities in the western part of Poland and one that has always had the most reputable craftsmen on board. The original owner of the facility was Stanisław Bieniek, known locally as an artist and craftsman. Since 1979, the company has been managed by Franciszek Bieniek, who has developed the original business and now works to ensure the unrivalled quality of the company’s products and to keep the family tradition alive.
Today, JAFRA is a business that combines the traditional skill of furniture making and hand-made quality with modernity. The company specialises in the design and manufacture of top-quality furniture of alder and oak, as well as cherry, hornbeam, ash, maple and beech wood.
Since 1946, JAFRA’s manufacturing facility has been located in the picturesque Barycz River Valley. The company uses in the process of creating the furniture, the materials from reliable suppliers committed to protecting the natural environment and offering wood material certified to have been sourced from ecological resources.
